Kenny Roger’s

Posted under Dinner tonight, Eat outs..., Good eats. Or not, Jalan-jalan.... cari makan

Kenny Roger's Sunway Carnival Mall, Seberang Perai, Penang

This would be the first time that I visited this establishment. This is not the first time I eat the food, though. The husband bought some takeouts of some dishes last year, and I was so sure that the food offered were not up to par for the price paid. Might as well buy from our local Ayamas if I were to be blunt, I told him.

But yet, I decided to give this place a chance since what do I got to lose, right? So off we go one night couple of months back. Yes, I had forgotten all about these photos until I was searching for something else and stumbled upon it.

But anyway, I was happy that I chose to give this place a chance because it proved me wrong! The food that I ate was takeaways, so probably it was not as good as it would be should I eat them at their restaurant.

I didn’t eat any chicken, the husband did. I ordered lamb chops, or something lamb. It was delicious. The service was very friendly and not lagging, though I do have one grumble. Why not offer bottomless soda/teas since you already charge much for it? Other than that, it was fine.

I definitely would be going there, soon hopefully :)

Super N8

Posted under Dinner tonight, Good eats. Or not, Jalan-jalan.... cari makan

Super N8 Kulim

Super N8 Kulim

It’s a name for a restaurant and a car dealership. No. I am not kidding. The owner of the car dealership, namely Super N8, decided to open up couple of restaurants in Lunas/Kulim areas, and he named it Super N8 Restaurants.

Go figurelah heheh…

But anyway, we decided to visit the restaurant in Kulim. Not in pekan Kulim, per se, but in the area, nonetheless. It is around 10 minutes away from Kulim, and about 3 minutes away from Taman Selasih. I don’t remember the name of the Taman that it is at, I would check it later, if I remember.

Anyway, it serves local dishes, and some western dishes, too. They looked delectable from the menu, though a newer, clearer menu would definitely help.

Most of the patrons ordered western menus, but I was not interested. I wanted to eat steamed barramundi, so I ordered that.

Would I come to eat here again? Yes, I probably would. I would want to try some of those western fares. Would I order this dish again? Probably not. The fish was not that fresh, and it was pricier than the ones that we would pay for over in Kuala Juru, anyway….

curry mee

We went to Genting Highlands couple of weeks ago, like I mentioned in couple of posts. At first, we wanted to eat buffet at some restaurants over there, but since by the time we reached there it was already after three, we decided to eat at this Kopitiam, which name escapes me at this moment.

Look at that Curry Noodle. Just look at it. Lick your screens if you are inclined. It was that yummy. I was kinda pissed at this point because we really wanted to try out the Kampong Buffet up there somewhere, but we were too early, or too late, whichever way you wanted to look at it. So pouting still, we sat there, and I asked for this item. At first, we were told that there were no cook that could prepare this. And the husband ordered chicken noodle soup for Tia. She ate the soup, and some noodle, after much prodding from me.

Since I did not feel like eating anything, the husband went to the counter, and asked whether the cook had come back. And yes, he did. And so the husband ordered one of these.

And when he saw how much delighted I was in the fare, he ordered another one.

For him lah, not for me tee hee….

And since it is Genting Highlands after all, that bowl of yumminess costs us RM 10.99 :p

TGiF Queensbay Mall : Revisited

Posted under Dinner tonight, Good eats. Or not, Jalan-jalan.... cari makan

tgif queensbay mall

I said in an entry here that I wanted to go eat over at Paddington’s last weekend, yeah? But, that did not materialize. What happened was the husband wanted to eat filet mignon over at TGIF. Yes, again. Even after what happened that time , remember?. He still wanted to go there. *roll eyes*

He had on that look. The look that said I am a poor little poodle. Have pity. Let’s go to TG. *sigh*. I hated that look. I still do, you know that husband, right?

But anyway, we went to TGIF over at Queensbay Mall. Well, that is the only outlet over in the North, anyway. Unless there is another one over in Sungai Petani that nobody told me about. OK enough marlinda.
