Cough cough

Posted under Admin's Logs, In health... and during sick times...

klcc and masjid as shakirin

We had been sick since coming back earlier this week. Thankfully Tia only has the runny nose and some cough here and there. Seemed like the person who would always be hit very bad with flu is me.

It does not help that I have the athsma, and it would almost always attack when the weather is unfavorable. And hot weather is definitely unfavorable to me.

It was so bad that I had to be given three doses of nebulizer last night. Spent about couple of hours at the hospital, and I came out feeling better.

Planned to go to two wedding receptions later in the afternoon. We would see how it goes.

Tidy up a little

Posted under Admin's Logs

It’s a really hot day today in Alor Star, after the hubby drove about into Thailand on Vesak Day. Padang Besar was empty, and so with the Perlis State roads, like a ghost town, but that caught us unawares when the queue back into Malaysia was so frigging long, I think it’s about one kilometer long, with Lorries and Trucks which reminds me of the snarls on the Singapore Causeway.

What the hubby did was took a diversion and drove into Sadao, Bukit Kayu Hitam where there was no jams, except when you need to stamp out, and having to queue at the immigrations on foot as they make everyone disembark their motor vehicles.

Anyway, he’s kind of busy right now. Removed the Adbrite codes, since there is an issue with their system and it DOES LOOK UGLY. Also, he totally removed NUFFNANG off my sidebar as it’s not paying out. RM0.88 for a month? You kidding right and it’s been more than 6 months that they have not paid out. So we stick to our guns and hold on to ADUCTIONS as their boss told us their US Office secured a huge deal with the Aductions Online system which literally means more money to pay off the webby expenses. 3G+ Celcom is not that cheap mind you, RM120 a month as compared to our Streamyx at RM77, so this does help the expenses.

Those who have signed up, please put your sidebars and leaderboards up so you can get fed with DOLLARS as compared to RINGGITS.It’s something I love to hear.BTW, they have many other things coming up next week, so do sign up quick if you want more Dollars for your blogs.

HAPPY VESAK DAY

Now hubby, what about the new skin eh?

Tia at KLCC
This is my 900th post over at this journal. There were times when I type down religiously. At times I would be too lazy. My first entry was made on August 23rd, 2005. So that means I had been updating this journal for about two years and nine months!. I see that as reaching a personal milestone since I am not one who really could keep doing something in a long haul, if you catch my drift. I just get bored easily, that’s why.

But after my husband paid for the domain and hosting, it would be so ungrateful of me to let this place go without new entries few times a week, right?

But anyway, I remembered when I was younger. I used to take my mom’s yearly calendar book, and try to write something in it. It would only lasts for like a week, and then I would chuck the book somewhere. So this is really something…

Since this is the 900th post, hopefully the husband would help me out with the new skin next week when he’s not that tied up. What with our anniversary coming up this Monday and all :)…

Let’s just hope….

Kenny Roger’s

Posted under Dinner tonight, Eat outs..., Good eats. Or not, Jalan-jalan.... cari makan

Kenny Roger's Sunway Carnival Mall, Seberang Perai, Penang

This would be the first time that I visited this establishment. This is not the first time I eat the food, though. The husband bought some takeouts of some dishes last year, and I was so sure that the food offered were not up to par for the price paid. Might as well buy from our local Ayamas if I were to be blunt, I told him.

But yet, I decided to give this place a chance since what do I got to lose, right? So off we go one night couple of months back. Yes, I had forgotten all about these photos until I was searching for something else and stumbled upon it.

But anyway, I was happy that I chose to give this place a chance because it proved me wrong! The food that I ate was takeaways, so probably it was not as good as it would be should I eat them at their restaurant.

I didn’t eat any chicken, the husband did. I ordered lamb chops, or something lamb. It was delicious. The service was very friendly and not lagging, though I do have one grumble. Why not offer bottomless soda/teas since you already charge much for it? Other than that, it was fine.

I definitely would be going there, soon hopefully :)
