Her Nenek Ngah called her a “korean baby”. I wish :p
Photo taken on August 12th, 2006. So that makes her around 21 months old at the time. See the short, curly hair? Had snipped off few inches maybe couple of weeks earlier. Love it because I could see her making face.
And boy, does she love making faces. Still do. Just that I sometimes had forgotten to put the camera somewhere handy for me to snap one.
Just love this one. I had put on the tag for this group of photos “What a gloomy and cold day! So tia spent the day at home, but went out with daddy to sainsbury to get something… most photos are of her monkeying around the house.”
How apt. I miss shopping at Sainsbury’s Extra over at East Beckton off North Circular Road. Over at Beckton Retail Park, the first place that we went shopping when I first came to England in 2003.
I kinda miss UK, if I must admit….

Date : August 17th, 2007
Bride : Asrul Nisha bt Tuan Haji Ahmad
Groom : Man (Wahahahah….. kes sudah lupa nama penuh menantu PakSu)
Location : Masjid Sg. Seluang
The day started off early for Paksu’s household. We get there kind of late (around 10ish) and the irate bride to-be had called me couple of times with sacharinely sweet death threat for I was to be the unofficial camera person for the solemnization over at the mosque. We were late since I had to look for that white scarf to don over my head since we were going to the mosque. And no, I did not take any photos of me wearing the tudung heh heh.
Upon getting there, I snapped some photos of the bride in the bedroom. I will never claim to be a wedding photo journalist, but I do all I can. Snap some photos of the bride to-be with some of her mates, snapped some photos of wedding favours and such.
So anyway, we headed to the mosque, some fifteen to twenty throng. There is another couple waiting to be solemnized in the same late morning, too. Golly
The bride to-be had to stay at the corridor since she was having her monthly menses. So my mom, all of my aunts and some other womenfolk stayed with her outside, while I had to gallivant inside, to where all the men congregate, to take photos.
You cannot imagine how awkward it was. Trying to tonggek here and there, and people watching you at the same time, too. I am quite thick skinned, so I continued to snap, I do *grins*
Borang nikah
And that’s Man, the groom
Amin!
The end of the day. Well actually, that’s only the starting of the story since the next day would be the wedding reception. That would be for another entry.
And since this is my journal, here’s another photo of the gorgeous pumpkin. Another photo of the day *grins*
All sweaty…
p/s : We are recuperating, but way better compared to three days ago…

Almost... About... A Review
Oh no, we are not looking into buying a property either here or in Singapore just as yet. This is all mainly educational, purely for garnering more information about home plans that is easily available (with some paid fees, of course) online.
First plan that I checked was the Log Home Plans. Why would I be interested in log homes? Easy. I remember when I was younger, I watched a lot of Little House on the Prairie. I loved the Ingalls very much, and I (like almost everyone who watched the series) loved the opening where Laura Ingalls and her sister, Carrie, traipsing down the meadows, all fresh and happy. I love their home, and though it was not a full blown out log home, but it looked almost the same, to some aspect, eh?
And what about Ranch house plans? Remember Bonanza? While Little Joe and Adam might be the looker (and with more fan mails, I bet), but the character most endearing to me would be Hoss. Almost childlike innocence in such a big man. I remember waiting for reruns for Bonanza, and I remember how much I loved looking at their home in that series.
My mom would be interested in single storey bungalow house Plans because she feels (rightly so, from my point of view) that it would be hard for older folks to be running (or walking) up and down the stairs so much. She is talking from experience, I will concur to that.
So what would it be, plan number one, two or three? Neither one? Well don’t fret, because there are others for you (and me) to browse and see. I just hope that one of these days, we would be able to build a home. Just like that one. I like
