Toys are not just for kids.

Men are big boys. And big boys just like big toys. the bigger, the noisier, the better right? Don’t you want to have you own personal set of toys ladies? Starting with a digital camera of some sort, with 5 megapixels and a 25x digital and 5x manual zoom would be great. And who says that iPODs are not just for the Homosapiens but there are customised editions for us too ladies. You can add a skin or two to make it PINK. Really Pink. So ok, if Tia has her way, it will be rainbow colours, crayons or pastels colors. That is Tia’s way, but I want it pink, or classical BLACK.

Or the latest Pink Core 2 Duo MacBook. Which stands at 2.6Ghz. Or the latest hot off the shelf QUAD CORE Notebook with 4GB ram and a huge hard drive. Plus I want that Pink Mini Cooper with the Union Jack on the roof. Sporty? Well, since the prices of the Malaysian cars are so high now, it’s cheaper and better to go for an imported car, right girls.

So, put your list out..and let the boys work for their toys …and ours. Mummies wants some toys too.

Drying them out

I know it’s the end of the year. It’s MONSOON SEASON again, but here up north, it’s Hot..and Hot like nobody business. And just as I put the washing out.. here comes Mother Nature …thundering down with a downpour. And the hubby…who hates to drive in Penang… will always ‘rempit’ all the way to the island for work or what not instead of just paying the RM7 Penang Bridge toll and the RM 2.60 on the BKE. Citing he hated to park and the stop start traffic in the island itself, he would save alot, by just paying RM1.12 for the bridge on the bike instead.

So, things are OK. Things get done, and when it’s rush hour and time to finish off the business and get home… that’s when mother nature love to play tricks on him. Kabush! Huge downpour just off the Bridge… and it rains just down there. Heh heh heh.. serve him right.

But come back home.. muddy and wet and …with the smell of traffic, and whatever excuse he came up with, it’s always a muddy wet pair of jeans,and the coat..and the t-shirt. Plus the daily load of the little angel’s mess… yeah, she will pick as much as 5 sets a day..or hour. So imagine the load.

And even under the fan, in a hot kitchen overnight, it won’t dry as much or as good as those Kenmore Dryers which I use at the launder mat in the University or back in Kent. They dry fast, and makes the clothes so soft and easy to fold, without the need to iron them out, just as they come out of the dryer. And because they use mainly GAS instead of Electric, it saves more money.

Another item on the wish list, and not that the cost is too much..it saves me alot. Of hassle that is….

Loosing an income

Loosing an income source is really hard for everyone. And loosing the opportunity just overnight is a terrible way to go. It’s just like when the hubby lost his job while we were in the UK when the company he worked for years just folded. Without any severance pay or even his last paycheck. It’s really hard.

And I do feel the pain with alot of my fellow friends who blogs for a living are basically living on crumbs. It’s not just hit over Pay Per Post but across the board. I am quite fortunate of late, being the fact that the hubby is still able to blog for fun, paying off just the hosting fees and sort and my internet access fees, and not just to earn a living.

The whole Blogging Industry had their Page Rank dropped to ZERO discounting their Page Ranks passed thru the Paid Blogging arena. But those affected, don’t fret, there are other means. Loudlaunch recently just announced that they have UPPED their payout. No more miserable $5 actually. And there are many other means.

But don’t just think of blogging. Ads make a huge deal too! Nuffnang Ads pays… alongside with Yahoo, Google and Adbrite. Say did I mention that the ads spaces are worth more than just blogging itself?? Yep. Even Tia Baby had more ads on her page than anyone here. Honest.

Well, Time to clean her mess….where is that jumping baby….
