Been too lazy to write up a post. Been too lazy to do anything else, for that matter. We had been so very busy these past few days, what with cooking for Eidul Adha (no we did not cook much, just enough to bring to Alor Star to our parents place), and then the next day, we had kurban. And we had to prep the whole lamb ourselves. Though it was not the hardest thing to do in the world, it was not that pleasant, either. Took us about an hour and half from start to finish, and boy was I glad when we were done.
But anyway, these are the things that me and my sister made (to take to Alor Star, actually)for Eidul Adha. We made chicken rendang, fried singapore meehon, lychee pudding, and our favorite, cheesy chocolate cake.
Used about 2 kg of chicken for the rendang, that was not much, I know. But I knew that my mom would be cooking other stuffs, too, so it would be a waste if we were to cook lots of food, imho. Oh, mom made ketupat, my adik Ida cooked the rest tee hee. I would make another entry of the food that she cooked later on. I used the same recipe here and here, too. The recipe could be found here, and if I have not uploaded the recipe, I would when I have the time. I need a breather, I do… tee hee….
Then I made this cheesy chocolate cake. Very easy to make, and very very very tasty. A definite keeper. I would definitely be adding up the recipe over at the forum when I find some free times. Sometimes soon, I would hope.
I seriously thought I have done the Post about the HP thingy till I saw what the funny (but in a crazy sort of way tee hee)people over at PayPerPost do…. all for some help in Digital Photo Printing gear.
Yeah… $1000 is BIG BUCKS, even by large in the Malaysian and UK Standards, but to be running like what I dubbed as Amazing Race around Chicago area. Talk about what people gonna do for a thousand dollars. Me? Not at 5 degrees below zero…Gosh.
But ask the Pumpkin.. maybe she will do it… run across the Scottish Highlands…in just her nappy and sleepsuits.
But of course her daddy would have to go with her, no?

At least to the person who had been gentle and patient enough to grow these. All of these were taken over at my parent’s place in Alor Star. I had tried taken some of these flowers about a couple of months back, but it turned out to be quite blurry. So since couple of days ago we went to Alor Star to send my mom home, I decided that then would be a good time as any to take the photos. All these photos were taken during a very very hot and humid day. Taken around 3.30 pm, to be precise. I try not to do anything much to these photos, so the blossoms were vivid because they were just that. Vivid.
I have more photos of other pokok pokoks around the home. Most of them are herbs for cooking, and I even found one interesting thing about one herby tree/plant…. Would put up about it soon, probably later tonight. And I would be making another separate entry of my visit to a certain friend over in Perlis. Later ok people….
