Festives,
Hari yang sangat malas Turned a year older. Hit the big three oh. What do I feel? Nothing really. I still look the same. No added wrinkles (though maybe I could get gray hairs from the pumpkin’s antics.) But other than that, things are the same.
I never celebrated my birthdays. When I was in primary school, mama would take us to pekan Kulim, to the bakery, to get two muffins or cupcakes, or slices of cakes of our choice on our birthday (one for other days). And no new baju, no new toys. Not even books. We get our weekly dose of books from the library, and monthly dose of Dewan Pelajar, Readers Digest, and Bambino from the corner surat khabar store (anyone from Kulim would know what I am talking about. The one tiny vestibule where this Indian uncle sold newspaper and magazine, right smack at the corner of jalan besaq by market lama).
This year marked my second birthday being a mom, and the third year being a wife. I am still trying, some days more than others. I am thankful for what Allah had deemed worthy for me, and especially for being a mom.
And yes, I do cook on my birthday. I like the way my mom taught me and my sister not to expect gifts and whatnots during our birthday, I would teach that to my children. Alhamdulillah for all that had been given to me.

Breaks...and holidays...,
Snip snap... Left for Darlington on May 24th, 2006. Well, we did not actually had a short break in the Midlands. Incidentally, my husband had some work to be picked up in Darlington, and we decided that me and the princess could tag along. It was just couple of nights stay, and he had work to do on one of the day anyway. But we managed some sight seeing, plus photo taking. I decided that it is not worth our while to drop by the city centre for whatever purposes, so we just passed through. Earlier on, we decided on one place that we would like to go and spend some time at. So off we go…
Driving around, I started to snap pictures…
I did not catch the name of this building…sure looked glossy

Dinner tonight Continuing from the last post….
Since I rarely put up my own pictures (most of the times I AM taking pictures), so that time, I asked my husband to please take some photos of me and tia… This is one of them, and all these pictures were taken on our way to the car (back from the Minggu Malaysia)

Festives Well, this is postdated, but what the heck.
On May 20th, 2006, we dropped by this place
