Aku kecik hati…tapi aku still masak….

Posted under Ggggrrrrrr, Masakan

OK lah aku terasa kecik hati kat someone tu… tapi biaq aku simpan lah sbb aku tau dia takdak tempat nak ngadu… I lebiu…. OK aku masak benda nie ari nie… aku beberapa kali try, tapi sbb belom penah ada blog, so masa nie baru aku bleh nak masukkan dlm nie….

Kung Po Chicken

Kung Po Chicken With Fried Chillies And Cashews
Ingredients:
2 large Chicken breast fillets (or use 8 chicken thighs)
1 jar Kung Po Sauce (alternately, kalau takdak use Hoisin sauce)
2 spring onions (3cm lengths)
8-10 dried red chillies (whole if small)
1 tsp minced garlic (or use fresh)
1 tsp minced ginger (or use fresh)
1/2 cup roasted cashew nuts
3 Tbsp peanut or vegetable oil

Method:
Cut chicken into bite size pieces and marinate in a little light soya sauce, peanut oil and cornflour.

Heat oil in a wok and fry dried chillies gently. Drain and keep aside. Then fried the cashew nuts. Set aside.

In the same oil fry the minced garlic and ginger, taking care not to burn it. Add the chicken and stir fry until chicken starts to colour and is cooked

Add Kung Po Sauce and the white stalks of the spring onions and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.

Last of all add the green spring onion tops and fried red dried cili. Season to taste

Aku mmg suka sangat makan benda nie esp masa aku kat states dulu….Lepas tu la nie nak makan, kena masak lah kan… abi tak penah makan… dia kata sedap…*yeayyy*…..membuak2 semangat merdeka nie aku nak try makanan baru hehehe… so nanti bila aku try, I would post it up here…
